Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how RankTrade refunds entry fees, deposits, and other charges. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Where mandatory consumer-law rules in your jurisdiction provide greater rights, those rights are not affected.

• Before the competition starts. You may cancel your entry and receive a full refund of the entry fee at any time up to five (5) minutes before the published start time, by withdrawing from the competition through the Service.
• After the competition starts. Entry fees are non-refundable once the competition has begun, even if you place no trades, are disconnected, or your equipment fails. This is consistent with the skill-based, time-bounded nature of the competition.
• Cancelled competitions. If RankTrade cancels a competition before it begins, your entry fee is refunded in full. If we cancel a competition after it has begun for operational reasons (for example, a prolonged data outage), we will, at our discretion, refund entry fees pro-rata, re-run the competition, or settle results as of a representative time.

• Crypto deposits. On-chain transactions are irreversible. Once credited to your in-platform balance, deposit funds can be used or withdrawn (subject to applicable limits and verification), but the deposit itself cannot be reversed.
• Withdrawals. Withdrawal requests can be cancelled by you only before they are submitted to the relevant payment service provider or blockchain network. After that point, the transaction is final.
• Wrong address / wrong network. Deposits sent to the wrong address, on the wrong network, or in an unsupported asset may be unrecoverable. We will use reasonable efforts to assist with recovery where technically possible, subject to PSP cooperation; we cannot guarantee return of such funds.

If you believe you have been charged in error — for example, an entry fee was debited but you were not entered into a competition, or a duplicate deposit was credited — contact support@ranktrade.io within thirty (30) days of the transaction. We will investigate and, where the error is on our side, correct your balance.

Prize results are determined automatically from the published rules of each competition. If you believe a result is wrong, contact support within seven (7) days of settlement with the relevant competition details. We will review trade logs and feed data and either confirm the result or, if appropriate, re-settle and credit any difference.

• Refunds are credited to the in-platform balance you used to pay, in the same currency unit (USD cents).
• If we cannot credit the original method (for example, the account is closed), we may issue the refund to another account you control or hold it pending verification.
• Refunds to external destinations (such as a crypto wallet) follow the same withdrawal rules and timelines as any other withdrawal.

Initiating a chargeback or reversal with a payment provider without first contacting our support team is a breach of these Terms. We may suspend the affected account, freeze its balance, and contest the dispute. If the chargeback is overturned in our favour, we may deduct the disputed amount and any associated fees from the account.
