Risk Disclosure and Educational Notice

Effective date: 17 May 2026

1. RankTrade is an educational simulated-trading platform

RankTrade lets you practise trading and compete with other users in skill-based challenges. Trades are placed against live market data using a simulated balance. You do not own any of the underlying assets, no instrument is bought or sold on any exchange, and no real-money trade is executed.

2. Not investment advice

Nothing on the Service is investment, tax, legal, or other professional advice. Charts, signals, leaderboards, comments, tutorials, and any other content are provided for educational and entertainment purposes only. We do not recommend that you buy, sell, or hold any specific asset.

3. Past performance does not predict future results

A user's ranking, return percentage, or win rate in past competitions does not predict their future performance — nor does it predict how a real-money trade would perform. Markets change; results on simulated capital do not translate one-to-one to real capital.

4. Real markets carry substantial risk

  • Real leveraged trading can lose more than you deposit.
  • Spreads, slippage, financing costs, gaps, and execution latency that we approximate in simulation behave differently in live markets.
  • Real cryptocurrencies are volatile, and many are illiquid or fraudulent.
  • Real foreign exchange and CFD trading is restricted or prohibited in some jurisdictions.

The Service is not a recommendation to attempt real-money trading. If you decide to trade in real markets, do so only through a regulated broker and only after you understand the products and the risk of loss — including total loss of capital.

5. Simulation is approximate

We aim to approximate real-world market mechanics — including bid / ask spreads, fees, funding-style adjustments, and liquidation logic — but the simulation is necessarily simplified.

  • Market data is sourced from third-party providers and may be delayed, missing, or inaccurate.
  • For instruments where bid/ask quotes are not available from our providers, we synthesise a reasonable spread; the result may differ from the spread you would pay in a real broker.
  • Liquidations and stop-loss / take-profit fills use mark prices and may not match the worst-case fills you would experience in a live order book.
  • Outages, server restarts, or feed interruptions may cause delays, gaps, or in rare cases the cancellation or re-settlement of trades.

6. Entry fees and prizes are not investments

Entry fees paid to RankTrade are the cost of participating in a skill-based competition. They are not investments, deposits in a financial institution, or contributions to any fund. Prizes are not interest, returns, or yield on an investment. Outcomes depend on the published rules of each competition and on the relative performance of participants.

7. Use responsibly

The Service is built for fun, learning, and friendly competition. If you start to feel that competing on RankTrade is affecting your financial wellbeing or your everyday life, please read our Responsible Use page and use the tools we provide — deposit limits, time reminders, and self-exclusion.

By using the Service, you confirm that you understand this notice and that you are using RankTrade for the educational and entertainment purposes it is designed for.
